Lady Florence River Cruise Restaurant provides a unique and exciting dining experience offering breakfast and  à la carte lunch, supper and dinner cruises from Orford Quay, Orford, Suffolk.

Serving freshly produced food and drinks, Lady Florence leaves from Orford Quay and cruises the calm waters of the Alde and Ore.

Taking up to 12 passengers on the historic 50-foot MFV built in 1944 with ample space on deck and in the wheelhouse and comfortable dining saloon.

Every cruise includes an informative commentary on both the intriguing history of The Suffolk Coast and the wildlife that now inhabits it.

Your meal is freshly prepared on board using local produce whilst you cruise along the river.

The Lady Florence is available for private charter, or individuals may book independently, sharing with other passengers.

Operating all year round, with a cosy coal fire in winter.

Daily cruises:

9.30am - 11.30am Breakfast

12pm - 3pm - À la carte Lunch

4pm - 7pm - À la carte Supper (from March – October) times vary depending on sunset.

7pm - 9.30pm - À la carte Dinner (4th June – 26th July Inc.)

LADY FLORENCE SCOOPS NATIONAL GOOD FOOD AWARD 2020

The Lady Florence based in Orford, Suffolk, has won a 2020 Good Food Award.

The awards recognise establishments offering exceptional levels of food, quality, service and value compared to industry benchmarks.

Oozing history and charm, the Lady Florence cruises all year round along the stunning rivers Alde and Ore and offers the very best home-cooked breakfasts, lunches and suppers for up to 12 passengers.

Craig Ambury and Kris Ambury, co-owners of the Lady Florence say:

“We are absolutely delighted to have received a Good Food 2020 award. The competition was tough this year and there were a record number of entrants with over 10,000 votes cast. The awards themselves are by invitation-only and completely based on merit.

“The Lady Florence has been offering river cruise dining since May 1992 and we take great pride in serving the very best dishes using locally-sourced produce. Passenger favourites include our steak, venison and mushroom pie, our scrumptious 3-course cooked breakfasts, local loganberry and apple crumbles and in the winter months, our very popular warmed mulled cider!
