PUMP STREET BAKERY REFURBISHMENT
After eight and a half successful years of service the bakery interiors have just had a new lease of life. Pump Street's renovation will improve customer experience and quality of service.
The new interior space has maintained a café with a seated area where customers can sit and enjoy a new simplified breakfast menu and seasonal sandwiches, there is a larger offering of outdoor seating for customers wanting to take their coffee and pastries outside; a takeaway service is also available.
The design retains a focus on the 15th century heritage building and utilises natural materials throughout the space. One of the ways this is demonstrated within the bakery is by commissioning local artisans to create unique and natural products that are showcased. One example is that of Steven James Will, who creates unique and natural porcelain tableware on the Suffolk coast.
We pride ourselves in offering outstanding bread and handmade pastries, all made daily in the village. We showcase our bread and pastries in our intimate café by serving breakfasts, sandwiches and savouries alongside the best directly traded, artisanal tea and coffee.
