Where to Shop in Orford
The thriving community of Orford retains many shops that have disappeared elsewhere. The village is a real foodie’s paradise, with two fresh fish shops, two smokehouses and an award winning butcher. The village shop and post office still flourishes selling not only food, but essential things such as crabbing lines and fishing nets. The garage not only supplies petrol but is a hardware store and has bicycles for hire. There is also an antique shop and a craft shop and English Heritage have their own small gift shop within the castle and Saturday mornings there is a Country Market in the Town Hall.
