Due to the on-going pandemic, Orford General Store is participating in the Orford, Gedgrave & Sudbourne Park Good Neighbour Scheme.
This service may be utilised by any resident, regardless of their age, if they are self-isolating due to necessity, or as a precaution.
If you would like to use this service, please telephone 01394 450235, and we can co-ordinate, with the volunteers, to ensure you receive a home-delivery of your shopping, free of charge.
If you would like to telephone the shop, please call 01394 450204, or email: orfordgeneralstore [at] outlook [dot] com, we can proceed to make up your order to your requirements. We will then telephone you back, when your order is prepared, & request a debit/credit payment from you. Please note, we cannot take cash payments, for this service, and neither may any of the volunteers, this is obviously for their protection, as well as your own. We will then communicate, with the GOOD NEIGHBOUR SCHEME VOLUNTEERS, to arrange collection & delivery of your goods, which will be delivered directly to your doorstep. This service may also be utilised, in co-ordination with the volunteers, to collect goods from the pharmacy.
We also stock Pinneys' products if you need these.
The service that is being offered by these volunteers, in a time of national crisis, is amazing, and I think that we should all be so grateful to them.
Please note we have also removed our minimum £5 spend on card payments, and would like as many customers as possible to pay contactlessly. Key pads, door handles, basket handles, counter surfaces etc, are all being sanitized regularly, to protect us all.

Simply telephone 01394 459890 to place any orders, no payment needed at the time of order - one less thing to worry about. We will sort payment when you are recovered. We will personally deliver when we close that day!!
